I am social worker with 15+ years of experience.  I worked for the child welfare system, adoptions, prevention of abuse and neglect, children and adults with different abilities (including the Autism Spectrum) and with the elderly population.  I bring a very diverse professional background.  My first career was Financial Analyst with a major health insurance company in the U.S.A. My second career is Social Work, and my other career is as a Minister within the United Methodist Church.  

All of these facets of my professional life have been part of my journey for a reason and a season.  In each role, I learned, healed, and was able to be of service to others.  For me helping others is almost part of my DNA. 

I was born into a family that practices altruism.  I saw my parents serve in many settings and countries in humanitarian efforts and as missionaries.  They met people where they were, without judgement, and total acceptance.  Through their service I learned that we all can coexist in the same space, that ecumenism is key to be able to make the world a better place.  

I have understood that to live a joy filled life we must look at ourselves as multidimensional beings.  We cannot approach emotional wellbeing separate from our physical, spiritual, and environmental factors.  We must show up for yourself, in order to live in harmony with others.  The opposite of this statement will leave you feeling  inadequate, unproductive, with unhealthy relationships and feeling scarcity at all levels in your life. 

The reason you are here is because you are aware that it is time to take action.  It is time to do the work so you can live your life with gusto!  Happiness is totally dependent on outside stimuli, but joy lives in you permanently!
